The Lock and the Door

Brand and model if you can read them, whether the door is wood, metal, or glass, and whether it is a deadbolt, a knob lock, a mortise, or a car door.
A Photo Beats a Paragraph

The cylinder face and the strike plate answer most of what a locksmith would otherwise have to ask. Mention that you have photos and you will be asked for them.
Where in New Jersey

Town and county. Access details matter too: a high-rise lobby, a gated lot, or a rural driveway all change how the visit is planned.
